Customized Microbial & Nutritional Gel Technology Description: Medipharm has developed an extensive lineup of innovative microbial, nutritional, and nutraceutical gel products for accurate administration of nutrients and microorganisms to individual animals. Active Ingredients: Gels may contain lactic acid-producing bacteria, such as Enterococcus faecium M 74® and Lactobacillus acidophilus, live cell yeast, such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae, or other fermentation products derived from Bacillus subtilis or Aspergillus oryzae. Gels may also be supplemented with spray dried egg product, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, or other nutritional additives, such as calcium and propylene glycol. Packaging:
Dial-A-Dose private labeled syringes are available in various sizes,
including 15, 20, 30, 32, 60, and 80 cc's. Also available are 300
cc snub-nosed or long tip syringes for multiple dosing of livestock
using a dosing gun. Research: A
number of feeding studies have been conducted with products containing Enterococcus
faecium M 74®, demonstrating its impact on
livestock and poultry performance. In 2004, within the European
Union, Medipharm
provided sufficient documentation to receive permanent authorization of
Enterococcus
faecium M 74® as a direct-fed microbial culture for use in calves and
piglets in Europe. |
