Medipharm
USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arla Foods since June, 2002, was
established
in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1984. Arla
Foods is the largest dairy cooperative in the European Union,
specializing in
fresh and fermented milk products, cheeses, fruit juices, and other
food
products and ingredients. Medipharm
USA is basic in the manufacturing of beneficial bacterial cultures and
innovative finished products containing these cultures and other unique
ingredients, including antibodies, enzymes, active yeasts, and other
natural
nutraceutical ingredients. Our three
main marketing areas include direct-fed microbials (formerly refered to
as probiotics), silage
inoculants, and baled hay preservatives.
After
Arla Foods acquired 100 % of Medipharm USA, we are pleased to offer the
newest
technology researched at the Arla Innovation Centres.
We are extending our product line to include human
probiotic
cultures, specialty cheese ripening products, and other specialty
bacterial
starter cultures. These technologies
have been well-received in Europe and other parts of the world, making
a major
impact on dairy and food products world-wide. Medipharm
USA is committed to the manufacturing of quality microbial cultures and
products. In February, 2003, Medipharm
received ISO 9001:2000 status. |
